mood:

after this week, i've gotta do lotsa writing..ahhHHhhhhHHH!
*running away* too lazy to even click the mouse to get sources and citations.
or even have ideas flowing through my head.

i was wondering whether my essays in time will end up as boring as the ones in our reading packs, then i'll have to liven it up to make it reader friendly.
BUT the sociological part of me kicks in & a small little voice whined, "so u mean now we have to entertain the masses even when it comes to academic work?!what a society to live in...having to appeal to everyone else."

maybe that's why our readings are so boring after all.
they're supposed to make a point, not to serve your purpose of delightful bedtime stories.

Ok. shall stop that.
anyways, instead of mass media lecture ytd, it became a sg film lecture.
our lecturer invited young budding talent Boo Junfeng who had recently gained recognition for the short films he make (even had a chance to go to Pusan for his upcoming 1st feature film, 'Sandcastle')

my lecturer scared him off a lil when he did the intro about him (apparently he showed us a file of newspaper clippings on Junfeng) omg like some stalker lol.

we watched all of his films (wow! no lecture!)
i must say, they're rather coOl (enjoyed every single one especially Family Portrait & Katong Fugue)
most of his stuff touch on family, human rights & sexuality.

then my tutor had to scare him further by asking a question so chim that if u dun take SC2214, u'll think he's frm Mars.

all of these make him sound like a little boy.
well he was the boy next door kind of package lol.
quite cute actually, soft spoken & shy.

back to myself.

we got further details of our new media curation project.
omg. it's interesting but worse than an essay.
had no idea how to, where to start (so will postpone it till the next lecture).
